So how do you start to describe what
fetishism means to you? Its hard, everyone's definition is different, and
so you seem to get certain people insisting that fetishism is one thing, when
really its what you make of it that defines what its meaning is for
you.
And also what makes finding compatible people
challenging.
For me, fetishism is part dictionary definition and
part something that can be damn hard to define at times (like now). I
guess that being an 'Electro Guy' helps as the the electro and gothic
subcultures commonly cross the musical genre boundaries into the fetishistic
subculture, and thusly its easier to be accepted as a fetishist by my
friends. I'd hate to be your average person, trapped within a society that
shuns a healthy relationship with your sexuality.
So what would a
fetishism section of a site be without telling you what things I am interested
in? I guess not much, though if you are a fat, balding, 40 year old
married man, don't email me asking if I know any hot chicks in your area that
will tie you up and pee on you. I'm not cupid...
Good
Things: Rubber, Latex, Leather, Duct Tape, Women in corsets, anything
bondage related as long as its erotic and/or harsh (I am a switch, though mostly
bottom).
Bad Things: Black rubber love yams (people that
wear rubber... who shouldn't), tasteless and/or unsafe bondage people, Dominant
people that think that because I wear a steel collar that they can just go and
pull on it whenever they damn well feel like it.
